Celebrating Outdoor Spaces
Land Corps is a full-service landscape maintenance company, proudly serving HOA and commercial properties across middle TN.
Our services include lawn care, turf treatments, seasonal flower installations, and community improvements through plant installations.
A Simple Process
1
Meet Up
We can schedule a property walk with the manager and/or board members. Alternatively, we can arrange a phone consultation to discuss and finalize the details.
2
Proposal
In addition to our proposal, we offer a detailed service map that visually outlines the designated area. This ensures clear communication and guarentees that everyone is on the same page.
3
Execution
Once a contract agreement is reached, we start maintening the property ASAP
Meet Our Team
Jeff MacDonald | President
Raised in a small rural town in Northern California, I was taught to raise beef cattle. As the youngest of seven children, I was often left with last pick jobs and as a result was very motivated to prove my worth on the property.
While the stronger boys were working with the cattle, I would often focus on things I could manage while still small. I fixed pasture irrigation and worked on the equipment with my dad and meticulously maintained my parents two-acres of grass.
Although a very delicate accident, many years later I laugh at the irony: I was run over by a riding lawn mower when I was three years old and could have lost my life, but now, 35 years later, I own a fleet of over 100 mowers.
I suppose most boys would steer clear of mowers after such an accident, however, I instead gained a deeper curiosity and passion for landscaping. As a 10-years-old, I volunteered to mow my parent’s turf each week so I could experiment with different grass striping techniques.
My interest in the trade grew from there and as a young adult I was designing and directing large installs.
Equally as important as my love for the trade is my experience in business ownership. I have honed my skills for many years in customer service, management, and operations with the country’s largest publicly traded insurance company.
While running Land Corps, I was recognized as “most responsive vendor” by multiple management companies
Tara and I were married in 2005, and bought our first home in Spring Hill, TN in 2007.
We have four wonderful children who are very active in sports and our church’s youth program. We have always taught them to work hard and are proud of their resolve to exercise a ton of grit to further their individual talents and interests. In fact, some of their interests have overlapped with ours so you may see them out helping with various jobs at Land Corps.
Tara MacDonald | Seasonal Plantings Coordinator
Overseeing seasonal plantings
Kaylee Karcher Hill | Executive Assistant
I am in charge of property and crew liaison at Land Corps. I am both a project coordinator and an executive assistant.
Before Land Corps, I worked as a community manager. My background in property management has been invaluable to my current position with Land Corps as I am able to put myself in the shoes of a property manager to ensure that projects are clearly communicated and completed in a timely manner.
Julio Santiago | Operations Manager
Overseeing general community maintenance, and additional work orders.
I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New Jersey. I have been doing landscaping since I was 19 and now I am 45. I am very passionate about what I do and take my role sacred. I always treat customers with respect, the way I want to be treated. My coworkers are like family to me. Everyday we built a strong relationship and trust. I love the challenge to make others happy with our service and accomplishments. Before I started at Land Corps, I had my own landscape and hardscape company. Now that I am working here, I feel the love and the passion for what we do. Like they said, it is not how you start, it is how you finish.
Nonprofit organizations we support with our time, talents, and financial support.
